Katrina Baron is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a rich background in psychiatric care and a deep commitment to holistic healing. Having served as the Medical Director at Prosperity Eating Disorders and Wellness from 2021 to 2024, she provided essential psychiatric support for their Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). Katrina's career spans various acute, inpatient, and community health settings, including her role as Clinical Coordinator at Leva Psychiatry, where she led the PEERS Social Skills group for young adults.
She earned her Master's in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry from Maryville University, following her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Loyola University of Chicago. Her primary mission is to address the whole person beyond their illness, a philosophy she passionately integrates into her therapeutic approach.
Recently relocated to Raleigh from the Outer Banks, Katrina enjoys the beautiful weather, beach outings, swimming, hiking, and spending time with her pug, Biscuit.
