Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Kiana Hutcherson, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults. She graduated from North Carolina A&T State University in 2021 and earned her Master of Social Work from East Carolina University in 2022.
Kiana has experience across school-based, outpatient, and intensive in-home settings. She supports clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, emotional regulation, family challenges, and life transitions.
Kiana's approach is warm, conversational, and interactive. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, solution-focused and strengths-based approaches, and DBT-informed skills based on each client's individual needs.
Kiana believes therapy can be meaningful without always feeling heavy. She enjoys incorporating creativity, games, humor, and clients' interests into sessions to help create a supportive and engaging therapeutic space.
Kiana hopes to create a space where clients feel like they genuinely have someone in their corner while building the confidence to navigate life's challenges.
Outside of work, Kiana would describe herself as adventurous, compassionate, creative, and always up for trying something new. She loves traveling, staying active, exploring new places, spending time with the people she loves, and hanging out with her pets.
