
Kristen Hall, PMHNP-BC, PNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified
Kristen is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP, 2025) and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP, 2008), both credentials earned from Duke University. With over 25 years of experience in pediatric healthcare, she has worked in diverse settings including home care, medical camps, and hospitals. The majority of her career has been dedicated to neonatal care, with clinical roles in renowned institutions such as Boston Children’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Duke University Hospital.
Kristen has a special passion for supporting families during pregnancy and the postpartum period, and her clinical interests include autism—particularly in adolescent girls—as well as anxiety, OCD, and depression. She is known for integrating creativity into her practice, offering a holistic and individualized approach to care.
In addition to her clinical work, Kristen has spent the past six years teaching neonatal physical assessments to medical students from the University of North Carolina and Campbell University. Originally from Massachusetts, she earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Boston College in 2000.
Outside of her professional life, Kristen is an avid traveler and lover of the arts. Her adventures have taken her around the globe to destinations such as Norway, Australia, Fiji, Costa Rica, Italy, and the Caribbean. She enjoys Pilates, all things creative, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
