Dr. Convoy is a 22 year veteran of the United States Navy. Upon military retirement in 2014, he now spends his time pursing academic, clinical practice, public speaking, and writing interests. He is presently serves as an Associate Professor at Duke University leading its Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program and a psychiatric - mental health nurse practitioner at Cedar Oaks Clinic in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He has extensive experience in caring for patients with depressive, anxiety, personality and trauma and stressor related disorders.
