Kimberly Ritenour, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Kim Ritenour (APRN, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC) is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and a graduate of East Carolina University. She provides psychiatric care across the lifespan, with a special passion for women's mental health. Kim has worked in Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry since 2021, and prior to her career as a nurse practitioner, she worked as a nurse in women's health for 10 years.

Kimberly approaches psychiatry through a holistic lens, recognizing the deep connection between hormones, nervous system health, lifestyle, and emotional well-being. She is especially passionate about supporting women through seasons of hormonal transition, anxiety, mood changes, and life-stage shifts. Her care philosophy centers on thoughtful listening, root-cause exploration, and creating individualized treatment plans that honor the whole person.

Outside of her clinical work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her pets, traveling to new places, and antiquing in search of timeless treasures. She believes healing — much like life — is about balance, intention, and caring for both the mind and the soul.
